My go to place for custom cakes. I have ordered picture cakes from Donna 3 times are she never disappoints. Not only do they look amazing, they taste fantastic. Always a crowd pleaser. Highly recommend

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner Saturday evening before a show at Victoria Hall. Great location - walkable from the harbour and the beach/campground. Lots of parking nearby. Very friendly, attentive staff. Good variety of delicious dishes on the menu. We have also enjoyed one of their seasonal prepared take-home meals.

We had a fantastic meal at Prep. Everything was exceptional. Best short ribs I’ve had in a long time! Delicious cocktails. Fantastic Caesar salad. Attention to detail from the staff including accommodating food allergies and children; and making sure we got to the theatre on time.

Can't say enough good things about Prep! The location in downtown Cobourg is so convenient - right on the main drag for events, close to the beach and campground, close to the theatres, tons of parking nearby. Can't wait for the patio to open! Super comfortable inside. A nice, cozy, friendly vibe. Great food and drinks from breakfast to dinner. Grab a pastry, a sandwich, a grab-and-go salad or wrap, or stop in for dinner and a cocktail. Knowing they're open 7 days a week is also great. Frozen meals are so handy! Our kids love the pastas. Also really great to take camping, or during an extended power outage (like we just had!). There are enough meals, sides, and salads that you can easily throw together a gourmet meal with basically no effort. And their holiday bundles are awesome if you don't want to make a big holiday meal! We've had Prep cater a couple of events for us, and been to several others they've catered, and the experience has always been superb. Finally, the people are the best. Super friendly and knowledgeable, they know you when you come in, and they make delicious stuff. You can tell they really care about the customers. We were in for a pre-theatre dinner recently with three kids, and the staff were SO great with them. Prep is my go-to place in downtown Cobourg!

We had a great experience working with Prep for catering for a party with about 60 guests. We were very impressed with Hayden, who helped us throughout the whole process. He was super knowledgeable, friendly and professional, and made the entire process easy for us. Anytime we had a question we received a quick and detailed response. We ordered the barbecue buffet and some grazing boards from the catering menu, and the food was delicious. They were also very helpful with figuring out options for different dietary restrictions. Everything exceeded our expectations :) I would highly recommend Prep if you need catering for an event!!

The food was amazing. 5 of us had Pasta, Cheese Burger, Beef Stew, Thai chicken curry. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The service was exceptional and the ambience most enjoyable. Thank You Prep Food Co. We will definitely be back. Oh, and the French Onion Dip appetizer

I’ve been eating at Prep Food Company for a while now, and I can't say enough good things about it! Their freezer meals are incredibly convenient, and the best part is how quick and easy it is to heat them up. Just pop the meal into boiling water, and in no time, I’ve got a delicious, fresh meal ready to go. The quality of the food is top-notch – always fresh and flavorful, even after freezing. It’s a game changer for anyone who wants a hassle-free, healthy meal without compromising on taste. Highly recommend!
